Man Utd make £170,000 a week offer to Adrien Rabiot but he's interested in Liverpool move

Adrien Rabiot received a huge contract of £ 170,000 a week to join Manchester United - but would rather approach Liverpool rivals, according to reports.

The Frenchman is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer this summer after falling into the club's hierarchy and betting on a transfer to the
 Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add the French international as part of his rebuilding plans, and the club has entered into a £ 9m contract with a £ 4.5m signature.

While Rabiot is tempted by the size of the deal, he is a big fan of Steven Gerrard and prefers to join the newly crowned Champions League winners.

He was also targeted by Tottenham, Barcelona and Juventus, but excessive wage demands prevented a change for him in January.

In all, the young product has made 224 games and scored 24 goals for his hometown club since its debut in 2012.

However, Rabiot has not appeared on a team for the Ligue 1 champions of Thomas Tuchel since December after refusing to sign a new contract.

The stylish midfielder was suspended after being photographed in a nightclub after Manchester United's defeat to Manchester United in March and then enjoyed a
post by Patrice Evra in commemoration of the victory.

Rabiot, six times capped by his country, also missed the French team at the 2018 World Cup, then refused a place on the waiting list and has not been called
since.
