Shatta Wale takes a blood oath, promises never to work with the Ghana Music Awards after losing all the prizes won

Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale took to Instagram to share a photo of a blood oath he made, vowing never to work with the Ghana Music Awards.
With sober reflections on events in recent times and having consulted more broadly, I would like to announce that I will not be part of the Ghana Music Awards
program from now on. God bless!"

His statement is coming just days after he and Stonebwoy, the rival singer of dancehall, had a fight at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Today, it was announced that Dancehall artists Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were stripped of all the prizes they won at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

They were also banned indefinitely by the organizers, Charterhouse. The decision was announced at a press conference at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, Charterhouse
 and the Awards Council.
