EFCC reveals Why Naira Marley wasn’t released alongside Zlatan

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has revealed why Naira Marley was not released alongside Zlatan.

As previously reported, EFCC released Zlatan Ibile after his arrest on Friday, March 10, along with rapper Naira Marley and three others because of his alleged
involvement in Internet fraud.

Zlatan Ibile was released alongside his crew, Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa, leaving only Naira Marley in detention.

Speaking on the development of the EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade in a new statement confirmed that the suspects were released on administrative bail and also
 revealed why Naira Marley is still in detention.

Tony Orilade said that although Zlatan is no longer in custody, it does not mean that he has been released and acquitted.

The spokesman also promised that the charges against Naira Marley would be released by the agency soon. He said;

"There is strong evidence against Naira Marley; so we can not release him on administrative bail like Zlatan and the other three.

"The fact that Zlatan was released does not mean that they were dismissed and acquitted. Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be sued soon and we will
 make the charges in a statement soon. "
